meet kelly

I am an artist living in Maryland with my husband and three children. I paint in my little white studio off of my kitchen, which is right in the heart of my home. It wouldn’t be a stretch for me to be cooking up dinner and painting at the same time.

For years, I felt a deep desire to create, as if something was waiting to burst out of me. And then one day when I was on summer break from my teaching job, my best friend (like best friends do), dropped off an easel and a big box of paint with canvases included and told me to get busy painting. So I did. I am a self taught painter, painting with acrylic since 2014. My journey the last few years has not only been a beautiful creative awakening, but a deeper understanding that I am God’s beloved. I am so grateful for every opportunity that I have to create something beautiful and hope to inspire and bless the collector with my work.
